*** SAFE 03/07/16 *** OWNER EVICTION LANDS KATMAI IN THE SHELTER – NOW WITH A COLD HE FACES DEATH AT NOON! KATMAI was sadly brought to the ACC when his owner was evicted. KATMAI is 10 years old and a very distinguished looking senior-ish boy! A volunteer writes: My heart breaks for sweet Katmai, who appears to be a former house cat who somehow lost his way. Easygoing and relaxed, he clocks in at a hearty 10 pounds, has luscious smoky black fur, and shows a slight hesitance (that disappears quickly) when it comes to meeting new people. When he first arrived at the Care Center, he showed good manners and a comfort level with humans, leaning in for pettings and doing well enough on his behavior test to qualify for just about any kind of home. It’s tough for these shy older boys in the adoption room, who often get overlooked in favor of young active cats. Please don’t overlook Katmai, a stately gentleman who has many years of love to give. KATMAI rocked an AVERAGE rating and enjoyed all petting and attention. He would be grateful if someone would rescue him now so he isn’t killed at noon Friday! IF YOU WANT A WONDERFUL KITTY COMPANION – LOOK NO FURTHER – KATMAI IS YOUR MAN!! CONTACT A RESCUE NOW TO GET HIM TO SAFETY!
