Basic Inforamtion:
Karma is 9 years old. She is spayed, has no known injuries or health issues but has not seen a vet in about 3 years. She was adopted from a shelter at 13 weeks old. Karma is being surrendered because of personal issues.
Socialization:
Karma is she when meeting new people and takes a few days to warm up. She has lived with a 7 year child and is relaxed and affectionate with the owner’s son. If she does not want to be bothered by anyone she may swat to tell the person to stop. Now that Karma is older she does not play as much but when she does he is gentle. She lived with another cat, Tigger A115063, the last 8 years. Tigger and Karma sometimes were found grooming each other but they usually keep the themselves. They are very tolerate of living with each other.
Behavior:
Karna meowed throughout car rides. She will struggle, hiss, and swat when receiving baths and having her nails trimmed. She toelrates being brushed, picked up, held. (when the person is sitting down) placed in a carrier, and woken up from sleep.
For a New Family to Know:
Karma is described has friendly, confident, assertive, fearful of new situations, indepdent, aloof, and quiet. As she ages she is devolping a low activity level. She used to play with laser pointer and may still but the owner hasn’t tried. He has been kept indoors. She sleeps on the couch and the bed. She is free fed 9 Lives dry cat food. She is litter box trained and shared one large litter box with the other cat in the home. The litter box was hooded with clumping litter. She sratched on his vertical scratch post made of cardboard.
