Medical Summary 11/22/16 16:53 microchip scan negative S/O: alert, responsive – allowed handling and palpation T: 102.7 HR: 208 RR: 36 EENM: OU bilat. partially proptosed eyes with mod. amount of dried blood surrounding, dried corneas, globes appear to be bloody inside; MM pink, CRT ~ 2 sec; old fx to both max. canines (104/204) H/L: nsf ABD: SNP MS/INTEG: amb x 4, BCS 3/9, mildly dehydrated NS: alert PLN: nsf GU: female cat (assume intact – did not shave for spay scar) A: proptosed eyes – r/o trauma vs other – appears to be old injury P: supportive care – pain medication – monitor attitude/appetite – gave 100 ml LRS SQ and 0.2 ml Buprenex (0.3 mg/ml) PO at time of exam – cont 0.2 ml Buprenex (0.3 mg/ml) PO BID x 5 days – Amoxi/Clav (45.7 mg/ml) 1 ml PO BID x 7 days – recheck temp. px: fair – needs both eyes enucleationed
