Based on chart review and visual exam (BAR, E/N clr, no c/s, good body condition, normal MD in cage), this cat is okay for spay tomorrow.

Observed Behavior – very sweet but tense and nervous. Easily handleable. Did well for all medical handling and procedures
Evidence of Cruelty seen – no
Evidence of Trauma seen – no

R = eupneic
EENT: Eyes clear, ears clean, no nasal discharge noted
Oral Exam: clean adult incisors, the rest of the dentition is deciduous, no oral lesions noted
PLN: No enlargements noted
H/L: NSR, NMA, CRT < 2, Lungs clear, eupneic
ABD: Non painful, no masses palpated
U/G: FI, no MGTs, no vulvar d/c
MSI: Ambulatory x 4, skin free of parasites, no masses noted, healthy hair coat
CNS: mentation appropriate – no signs of neurologic abnormalities
Assessment: Apparently healthy
Plan: Continue to monitor while at BACC
SURGERY: ok to schedule for surgery

Selene looks to be a 3 month old white and gray female kitten who was found in some ones yard and brought to the ACC as a stray.

How is this cat around strangers?
During intake Selene was shy and was at the back of the carrier. She did allow the staff to pick her up and pet here with no problems.

Selene came into the ACC with her male litter mate. When around him she was relaxed and affectionate.
