***SAFE 06/17/16*** SECOND CHANCE for deserving SENIOR GEMS, please make it count!! June is “Adopt A Shelter Cat Month,” so the ACC is celebrating that by planning to kill 33 cats tomorrow. Yes, the agency who says “We have been matching pets with people for over 17 years, and when you visit one of our Care Centers, our staff and volunteers will work with you to try to find your perfect loyal companion” on their website is actually NOT DOING THAT for JUPITER and JUNO. These cats are two AVERAGE-rated senior gems who were found by construction crews in a demolished building, and who brought the cats to the ACC on June 10th. The ACC has wasted NO TIME in slapping these beauties on the At-Risk List, and will probably even have them be the first two cats in the kill room tomorrow. Why? Because they can. Each cat could use a checkup with a competent veterinarian, which is obviously not going to happen unless a FOSTER or ADOPTER steps up for them tonight. Show the ACC what the REAL meaning of “Adopt A Shelter Cat Month” really is, and SAVE JUPITER AND JUNO TONIGHT!
