JULIA was found outside and brought to the shelter by someone who probably thought they were going to help her find a home. NOT!!! JULIA has the kitty cold and even at the young age of 14 weeks the ACC will kill her at noon Thursday rather than treat her and put her in the adoptions room. We do not understand this, and there is no time to waste – JULIA needs help now! She is a sweet friendly kitten who is easy to handle and was given a wonderful AVERAGE rating. 06/30/16 16:36 Julia is a 4 month old black and white DSH with a possible illness. Julia was found outside and allowed finder to pick her up and give her water. During intake Julia was very quiet. Julia allowed counselor to scan and collar her with no problem. Julia enjoyed being pet by the counselor and began to purr.

Julia was brought in as a stray, so we cannot speak to her behavior in her previous home. She was found outside and allowed her finder to pick her up and give her water. Upon intake, she was very quiet and allowed the counselor to handle her. She enjoyed being pet and began to purr. She was also easy to handle during her initial medical exam. Please note that this cat is being treated for a medical condition at the time of evaluation. It is difficult to determine at this time how the medical condition may be affecting the behavior. Despite her medical condition, this cat remains social and affectionate. Reaction to assessor: Julia was resting but was calm, relaxed, and friendly. Reaction when softly spoken to: Julia looks at the assessor with relaxed eyes and blinks sleepily. Reaction to cage door opening: Julia remains soft and relaxed. Reaction to touch: Julia closes her eyes, begins to purr, and leans in for petting,. Reaction to being picked up: Julia remains soft and allows all handling. Behavior Determination: Average Julia interacts with the observer, appreciates attention, is easy to handle and tolerates all petting. This cat is showing behavior appropriate for new or experienced cat parents.
