12/07/2016 BEHAVIOR EVALUATION – EXPERIENCE
Exam Type BEHAVIOR
Reaction to assessor: Jude was crouched over her blanket with her eyes closed at the back of the kennel. Reaction when softly spoken to: Jude squints at the assessor then slowly looks around the kennel. Reaction to cage door opening: Jude lip licks and remains motionless. Reaction to touch: Jude seems hesitant and leans away when the assessor extends his hand out. She slowly leans forward, sniffs the assessor’s hand and closes her eyes when pet. Her body feels a bit tense when rubbed but she slowly warms up and slowly approaches the front. She keeps her tail low, leans in for attention and periodically pauses and focuses on her surroundings. Determination: Experience Jude may be a little more independent, and may need time to warm up to her new home. We recommend that this cat go to a home with experienced cat parents.
