Jon Jon’s previous owner states he has lived with adults and a 9 year old child. He was relaxed with the child, allowing petting all over. He has interacted with cats during his first year being born, but has not been around them in the last 5 years. He spends his time lying around the home and is normally in the same room as his owner. He enjoys being brushed and petted, and was described as affectionate, calm, and friendly. When visitors enter the home, he will remain seated and watch the person. Jon Jon will meow and rub against the owner when he wants attention. He is litter box trained, but will have accidents when it is not properly cleaned. Jon Jon likes to play with stuffed toys and chewing on straws and paper.
Reaction to assessor: Jon Jon was calm and relaxed by the front.
Reaction when softly spoken to: Jon Jon sniffs around.
Reaction to cage door opening: Jon Jon remains soft and relaxed.
Reaction to touch: Jon Jon head-butts, begins to purr, and leans into petting. He attempts to explore outside of his cage afterwards.

Jon Jon interacts with the Assessor, solicits attention, is easy to handle and tolerates all petting. No known history of behavioral problems. This cat can go to a beginner home.

Jon Jon is described as affectionate, calm and friendly. He was cared for by his owner for the past 10 years. He lived with adults and a 9 year old child. Jon Jon was relaxed with the child, allowing petting all over. He has interacted with cats in his first year of life while in his owner’s home but not in the last 5 years. He is an indoor cat only.
BEHAVIOR
Jon Jon spends his time lying around the home, normally in the same room as his owner. Jon Jon is accustomed to being bathed 1x every 6 months by his owner. Jon Jon will attempt to escape while in the tub. Jon Jon enjoys being brushed and petted. He will his if his owner attempts to trim his nails. He allows his owner to pick him up. When visitors enter the home, he will remain seated and watch the person. He will chew on random paper lying around. Jon Jon will meow and rub against his owner when he wants attention.
FOR A NEW FAMILY
Jon Jon likes to play with stuffed toys and chewing on straws and paper. He is accustomed to using a covered litterbox. He will go outside of his litterbox when it’s not properly cleaned. Jon Jon enjoys scratching his carpeted scratching post. He is fed 9Lives wet food only 2x a day. He enjoys Temptations cat treats and occasional table food like ham and pork chops. Jon Jon will sleep in the living room or under the table in the kitchen.
DURING INTAKE
Jon Jon displayed dilated pupils while seated in his owner’s arms. He allowed touching and being petted. He was collared, scanned for a microchip(negative) and photographed.
