***SAFE 08/16/16*** BEGINNER RATED JIMMY HAS A BROKEN HIND LEG!! A volunteer writes: Pssst, over here…can I interest you in some free snuggles? The name’s Jimmy and I got everything you’re looking for; head butts, nose boops, face nuzzling, all with a hefty helping of purr power on the side. I don’t like to brag but the volunteers say I’m a real hunk (there’s a lot of oohing and awwing over these pawsome eye markings) and even if one of my back legs don’t work so good right now, I’m always ready to party. Friendly is my middle name and once the vet fixes my leg up we are gonna have a ton of fun together! So pass the catnip, start the petting and get ready for a lifetime of love and cuddly good times. I’ll be waiting for you in my condo at the Manhattan Care Center…

08/08/2016 PET PROFILE MEMO
08/08/16 12:37 Jimmy is an adult male DSH cat. Neighbors were feeding him outside for a few weeks. They report that he’s friendly and affectionate with new people. He approaches them and rubs against them to solicit petting. For the past few days he’s been barely able to walk and is holding up his rear right leg. He allowed his finder to pick him up, put him in a carrier, and bring him to ACC. Jimmy had soft body and eyes while I pet him, scanned him (-), collared him, positioned him for pictures, picked him up, and put him in a carrier. He didn’t resist, retreat, or vocalize.
