The ACC still doesn’t have a positive diagnosis on the ringworm – which is easily treatable with anti-fungal cream. And their URI is getting better according to the notes. MEDICAL BEHAVIOR: 9/27/17- docile, allows handling ENRICHMENT NOTES: Resting on bedding with sibling, soft eyes and body. Yawned and stretched when door opened, continued to lay in place. Leaned and arched into pets. Cage Condition: No change Reaction to assessor: Jill immediately comes soliciting at the front of the cage. Reaction when softly spoken to: Jill remains soft in place. Reaction to cage door opening: Jill remains standing at the front of the cage, relaxed body posture, soliciting attention. Reaction to touch: Jill head-butts the assessor’s hand and appreciates petting on the head and body. Reaction to being picked up: Allows the pickup and remains calm. ACTIVITY LEVEL: Mellow VOCAL: Somewhat chatty CHARACTER TYPE: Sweet Affectionate POTENTIAL CHALLENGES: None BEHAVIOR DETERMINATION: Beginner Behavior Asilomar H – Healthy BEHAVIOR SUMMARY: Jill interacts with the Assessor, solicits attention, is easy to handle and tolerates all petting. This cat can go to a beginner home.

8th day of DTM culture 9/27: some white growth with change of color seen in the green side. No growth or change of color seen in the red side.
10th day of DTM culture Growth with change of color seen on either side. Microscopic slide reveals fungical spores related to ringworm.
Ringworm positive DTM culture positive to ringworm (Microscopic exam performed today) As per dr. 0577 Start 0.5 cc Itraconazole 10 mg/ml sid po x 10 days. Lime dip baths twice a week per 4 weeks.
