Injured paw. Retreated when door opened, but stretched out by the back, calm and relaxed. Allows all petting and leans in slightly.

Scan : negative
Sex: female
Approx 2 yr
S/O: BARH, APP ++, clean EENT, no ocular or nasal discharge. Left front paw is severely swollen, there is a mass on the underside of left front paw encompassing entire metacarpal pad, normal pad is not identifiable. One ingrown nail, secondary to swelling caused by mass.
Very sweet cat, easy to handle.
A: Mass/neoplasia, ingrown nail. Other ddx for mass, feline lymphocyctic pododermatitis, eosinophilic plaque, possible old injury with exuberant granulation tissue (unlikely due to lack of inflammation around mass)

Will start clavamox and buprenorphine
Needs NH placement and follow-up veterinary care. Recommend biopsy of mass and suspect may require forelimb amputation.
