JELLY – A1092980
Safe - 10-20-2016 Staten Island
***SAFE 10/20/16*** JELLY is an 6 month old kitten whose life, so far, has not been very easy. Fate has not smiled on this little gem, who came to the ACC all by himself. JELLY has had a few meals and a chance to regroup; in a perfect world, he would be heading off to a loving furever home. Is this a perfect world? Right now it looks like the answer would be “no,” because JELLY has made the euth list. Can it be a perfect world? The answer to that is up to you. Please find a home for JELLY tonight, and make the answer to that question a resounding “yes!”

10/10/16 09:45 Finder stated that Jelly was very nervous and would try to bite her/scratch her about 3 months ago when she noticed him coming around his yard. She was able to socialize him and get him used to petting. Finder stated that she noticed Jelly around other cats & he was respectful of them. Owner also noticed Jelly around a dog but stated that Jelly kept his distance. Finder was feeding Jelly both wet & dry food brand name 9 Lives. Behavior during intake: Jelly was at the front of the carrier meowing during intake. When I put my hand out, he was relaxed. I was able to scan Jelly for a mc, collar and take a picture without any issues. He started to lean into my hand after a few minutes so I can pet him.
