Another cat hissing/cyring while doing exam and very busy in room. After oral exam, started hissing and swatting but allowed remainder of exam with gentle restraint and going slow. Evidence of Cruelty seen – no Evidence of Trauma seen – no Objective T = P = 160 R = eup BCS 4-5/9 EENT: marked entropion of both lower lids, moderate mucoid discharge OU, ears clean, no nasal discharge noted Oral Exam: clean adult dentition, possibly painful but no overt oral lesions PLN: No enlargements noted H/L: NSR, NMA, CRT < 2, Lungs clear, eupnic ABD: Non painful, no masses palpated U/G: 2 desc testicles, moderate soft bladder MSI: Ambulatory x 4, skin free of parasites, no masses noted, healthy hair coat CNS: mentation appropriate – no signs of neurologic abnormalities Rectal: NP Assessment 3 year old M DSH 1. Entropion OU r/o congenital v reactive due to ulcers v other 2. Possible oral pain but clean dentition 3. Diarrhea r/o stress v parasites v inflammatory v other Plan -Received intake procedures yesterday -Sign up for BID TAO OU x 10 days -Needs placement in order to receive surgery for entropion -Simbadol 0.24 mg/kg SQ SID x 3 days, extend PRN -Recheck in 2 days Prognosis: Fair to Good pending placement for ocular procedure SURGERY: Okay for surgery
