Upon intake, Janus jumped off of the table and ran and hid behind a drawer. Janus had to be coaxed into a carrier, due to this, Janus was not collared and the picture was taken from inside the carrier.

Reaction when softly spoken to:: Janus remains alert with eyes dilated, ears erect and forward.

BEHAVIOR SUMMARY:: Janus is displaying behaviors that preclude placement in the adoptions room and/or may require further investigation before placement in a home. He is stressed in the shelter environment and does not currently tolerate petting or handling. The behavior department feels that placement with a New Hope Partner is the best option at this time.
