Sitting up in litter box, eyes dilated. Started to flee when door opened. Moved around cage to avoid touch.
Cage Condition: Cage is slightly re-arranged
Reaction to assessor: Jackson looks tense, crouched position at the back when approached by the assessor.
Reaction to cage door opening: Jackson remains alert with normal shape eyes.
Reaction to touch: Jackson accepts the stroke, but remains immobile in place while he closes his eyes.
ACTIVITY LEVEL: Motionless
CHARACTER TYPE: Shy and Timid

Jackson tolerates attention and petting but may be fearful or stressed in the shelter. We recommend that this cat go to a home with experienced cat parents.
