This terrific trio are all super friendly and easy to handle. Willow and Jayden have low grade heart murmurs that should be checked out by a competent vet once they get out of the shelter. I came in the shelter as a STRAY on 10/06/2016 from NY 10451, owner surrender reason stated was STRAY. I came in with Group/Litter #K16-077027.

10/6/16 Sex: Female Scan: Negative Estimated age: 2 months based on weight and dentition Fleas: Small amount of flea dirt. Came in with two other kittens. One other kitten has a grade 1/6 systolic heart murmur PMI R base. S: Alert, allows all handling O: BAR-H, BCS 5/9, MMs pink and moist EENT: No discharge OU, AU, nose. Clean deciduous teeth (all present). PLNs: Not enlarged. H/L: Grade 1/6 systolic heart murmur at right base. NSR. Eupnic, quiet lung sounds. Abd: Soft, no pain on palpation, no masses palpated M/S/I: Amb x4. No skin lesions noted. UG: Female A: Heart murmur – R/O innocent murmur flow vs. sign of congenital cardiac defect. One other kitten in the litter has a murmur, and the murmur is on the right side of the heart, both of which make me suspicious of a congenital defect. However, the murmur is very subtle. Short-term prognosis: Good Current surgery status: Permanent waiver due to heart murmur. P: 1. Administered 0.2 ml pyrantel and Frontline spray during exam. 2. Ideally, pt should get an evaluation by a cardiologist within the next few months. 1088
