*** SAFE 09/04/16 *** BEGINNER HORUS HOPES YOU’LL “WALK LIKE AN EGYPTIAN” TO RESCUE HIM!!…..A volunteer writes: In ancient Egypt, Horus was the god of the sky. At the Care Center, our Horus is the god of the cat adoption room–a sleepy-headed young guy with snow-white paws and a centered, confident, princely demeanor. Judging from his amazing calmness and easygoing personality (plus how well-groomed he is), Horus was probably a house cat up until very recently. Whether he lost his way home or was left behind by his former people is anyone’s guess. But this good boy with the A+ behavior exam is hoping to find a real forever family who will worship him the way he deserves. Meet this cat deity on 110th Street today!…….SAVE HORUS TONIGHT!!

08/15/2016 PET PROFILE MEMO
08/15/16 16:49 Horus was calm inside the bag he was brought in. When he was first transferred to an acc carrier he walked inside it by himself. He meowed at counselor and allowed counselor to scan him for microchip and pet him on the face. When he was taken out of the carrier again for pictures and collaring he was interested in sniffing around the entire table. he allowed for collaring and allowed counselor to move him around the table and pick him up for pictures. He sniffed food but did not eat it. Horus was reluctant to go back into his carrier. He hissed and swatted at counselors. counselors used protective gloves to handle him into his carrier. Once inside he became quieter and stopped hissing.
