I came in the shelter as a STRAY on 05/11/2017 from NY 10452, owner surrender reason stated was ABANDON. I came in with Group/Litter #K17-096870.

KNOWN HISTORY: Hollywood was brought in as a stray, so we cannot speak to his behavior in his previous home. He was very affectionate during intake and allowed the counselor to conduct all handling. MEDICAL BEHAVIOR: Subjective: Calm, alert, allows all handling EVALUATION: Cage Condition: Cage is slightly re-arranged Reaction to assessor: Hollywood meows and approaches the front. Reaction when softly spoken to: Hollywood starts to knead and leans against the cage door, rubbing his cheeks on it. Reaction to cage door opening: Hollywood remains soft and relaxed. Reaction to touch: Hollywood head-butts and leans in for petting. He hops onto the assessor’s lap and nuzzles against the assessor, purring and kneading. Reaction to being picked up: Hollywood remains soft and rests his head against the assessor’s arm, purring. ACTIVITY LEVEL: Moderate VOCAL: Quiet CHARACTER TYPE: Social, Affectionate, Sweet BEHAVIOR SUMMARY: Beginner Hollywood interacts with the observer, solicits attention, is easy to handle and tolerates all petting. This cat can go to a beginner home.

Oral Exam: Clean teeth, foul smell. No blood seen in mouth, no oral or lingual ulcers seen currently. H/L: NSR, NMA, CRT < 2, Lungs clear, eupnic ABD: Non painful, no masses palpated U/G: Male intact, testicles S/S MSI: Ambulatory x 4, skin free of parasites, no masses noted, healthy hair coat CNS: mentation appropriate – no signs of neurologic abnormalities Assessment: 1. URI 2. Ear mites likely Plan 1. Clean ears today and in 5 days, give Tresaderm AU BID x10 days 2.
