Medical Summary Scan negative Animal has severe dental disease. Possibly may need some extractions. Both ears were dirty,cleaned. Coat is untamed and matted within lumber region,was shaved and combed by-1215 Slight-mildly dehydration. Animal was FELV/FIV tested,by 1215- Results are negative. Gender:Neutered Geriatric Nosf

Animal has severe dental disease. Possibly may need some extractions.
Both ears were dirty, cleaned. Animal has abnormal looking cyst vs other within both ears. Gave first dose of TX Tresaderm, animal tolerance level went down after treatment.
Coat is untamed and matted within lumber region, was shaved and combed
Nails are curled over, but due to tolerance level declining, will place animal on tech check for nail trim for tomorrow.
Slight-mildly dehydration.
Animal was FELV/FIV tested – Results are negative.

Severe dental disease with severe gingivitis — start clindamycin, needs dental with likely full mouth extractions after placement.
otitis externa — start tresaderm AU BID x 14 days; ear cleaning twice weekly

S/O: Cat is Q/BAR, laying in litter box
Severe halitosis and ptyalism; grade 4/4 dental dz
Unable to assess app based off dried wet food in kennel; offered new wet food and cat ate gingerly
Hyperpigmentation/comedone-like nodules AU
Heart/lungs difficult to auscult d/t purring, but seem wnl
A: Severe dental dz, chronic otitis externa
P: This cat needs a dental prophy with extractions ASAP; adding bupi to tx as his mouth is likely painful
PROGNOSIS:
Fair-Good with dental & extractions
Behavior
Hermes hasn’t had a behavior evaluation yet but his medical behavior is green (allows all handling)
Profile
The person that surrendered stated that Hermes is a very friendly cat. He enjoys petting but tends to hide when company is around. He has interacted with children aged 1 and older. During intake, Hermes would rub his head and body against the carrier door. He would purr loudly while being petted. He was collared, scanned for a microchip (negative) and photographed.
