Herman is at risk for medical reasons, having been diagnosed with upper Respiratory Infection, which is contagious to other cats. Behaviorally, we have no concerns for Herman and believe she would be suitable even for a beginner cat home.

Herman allowed us to collar and take his picture he kept his body low the entire time and kept looking to jump away or back into the carrier. He let us pick him up and place him in the kennel but he tried to jump out.

KNOWN HISTORY:: Herman was brought in as a stray, so we don’t have any behavioral history or tendencies in a home environment.
MEDICAL BEHAVIOR:: Observed Behavior -mixed:struck once but then tail up , allowed exam
ENRICHMENT NOTES:: Curled up dozing in litter box, eyes dilated but soft posture. Lay in place when door opened, sniffed hand, stared to lean and arch into pets with increasing enthusiasm. Purred, drooled, lifted rear for butt scratches and marched in place.
