***GONE 09/12/16 *** SECOND TIME AROUND FOR A MAGNIFICENT SEVEN PLUS ONE MORE IN THIS KITTY GROUP WHO DESPERATELY NEEDS OUR HELP TONIGHT!!….Ranging between 4 years old and 11 years old these seven sweeties are only part of a group of cats from a hoarding situation…..Some are New Hope and some are publicly adoptable but Experience rated…..they are all scared. They are mostly fixed but HEINEKEN & SAM ADAMS are not……BLUE MOON only has one tooth, bless her….Bad enough the ACC was thinking about a drinking binge when they named these cats but what will happen is a killing binge instead!!…All these cats just need a little love, time and patience to feel safe again!! Now no one is expecting anyone to take all eight, but maybe you can find the room to foster or adopt ONE!! Don’t wait for the next person or the ACC, because they’re not going to come through, it on YOU!! So don’t raise a glass tonight, raise your phone and make a call to a NEW HOPE rescue!! GUINNESS, HEINEKEN, CORONA, SAM ADAMS, BLUE MOON, SHOCKTOP ROLLING ROCK & ELVIS will be glad you did!! Don’t know any New Hope rescues? Email [email protected] for assistance…..

09/10/2016 BEHAVIOR EVALUATION – EXPNOCHILD
Exam Type BEHAVIOR
Reaction to assessor: The cat looks tense in the cage when approached by the assessor. Reaction to door opening: The cat remains tightly curled up hiding in the cat den, alert with eyes wide open. Reaction to touch: The cat accepts the stroke, but stiffens up and shows no interest with the petting. Placement determination: Experience / no child The cat tolerates attention and petting but may be fearful or stressed in the shelter, and may be intimidated by small children. Due to the behaviors seen in the care center, we feel that this cat will do best in a calm, quiet home with experienced cat parents and without children.
