03/10/16 12:59 Heidi A1067250 was found on 3/7/2016 in the Bronx. The finder stated that she was walking her daughter to school and saw the cat walking in the street. She said that Heidi was very friendly and followed her home. She took her in and fed her. She is unable to keep her. behavior during intake Heidi was very friendly and allowed all handling. She allowed to be scanned(-), collared and photographed. She headbutted my hand and wanted me to continue to pet her. Heidi allowed me to carry her and place her into a kennel.

03/15/2016 BEHAVIOR EVALUATION – BEGINNER
Exam Type BEHAVIOR
Heidi was brought in as a stray, so we cannot speak to her behavior in her previous home. The finder reports she was very friendly and followed her home. She took her in and fed her, but is unable to keep her. She was very friendly upon intake and allowed all handling. She head-butted the counselor’s hand and continued to solicit attention. She was also easy to handle during her initial medical exam. Reaction to assessor: Heidi comes to the front and chirps. Reaction when softly spoken to: Heidi chirps again and rubs against the cage door. Reaction to cage door opening: Heidi remains soft and relaxed. Reaction to touch: Heidi head-butts, begins to purr, and leans into petting. She is very affectionate throughout the interaction. Reaction to being picked up: Heidi remains calm and purrs when held. Behavior Determination: Beginner Heidi interacts with the Assessor, solicits attention, is easy to handle and tolerates all petting. This cat can go to a beginner home.
