Heart was brought in as a stray, so we cannot speak to his behavior in his previous home. He allowed all handling upon intake and during his initial medical exam. He was also reported to be attention seeking. Reaction to assessor: Heart was calm, relaxed, and friendly upon approach. Reaction when softly spoken to: Heart meows and comes to the front. Reaction to cage door opening: Heart remains soft and relaxed. Reaction to touch: Heart head-butts, leans in for petting, and begins to purr. He is very affectionate throughout the interaction. Reaction to pick up: Heart remains soft and purrs when held. Placement Determination: Beginner Heart interacts with the Assessor, solicits attention, is easy to handle and tolerates all petting. This cat can go to a beginner home.
