Grimpy was brought in as a stray, so we cannot speak to her behavior in her previous home. Reaction to assessor: Grimpy is curious and comes near the front of the kennel and makes eye contact. Reaction when softly spoken to: Binky leans forward and reaches out towards the assessor with paws. She lightly rubs against the kennel door and purrs softly. Reaction to cage door opening: Grimpy is calm and relaxed. Reaction to touch: Grimpy purrs softly and rubs up against the assessor’s hand. She allows petting all over and is very affectionate. Reaction to being picked up: Grimpy is calm, relaxed and has a soft body when held. Behavior Determination: Beginner Grimpy interacts with the assessor, solicits attention, is easy to handle and tolerates all petting. No known history of behavioral problems. This cat can go to a beginner home.
