Medical Behavior Evaluation GREEN
Medical Summary One kitten came without mom It can eat on its own Underage and Underweight Scan negative Male Age aprox. 7 wks Severe conjunctivitis in right and nasal secrtion -possible URI Cleaned with eye cleaning solution and applied Erythomycin eye oint. Ear mite and flea comb negative Allows handling
Initial Exam (9/25/16)
One kitten came without mom
It can eat on its own
Underage and Underweight
Age approx. 7 wks
Severe conjunctivitis in right and nasal secretion -possible URI
Cleaned with eye cleaning solution and applied Erythomycin eye oint.
Ear mite and flea comb negative
Elevated third eyelid OU, serous ocular d/c, mucopurulent nasal d/c
Fecal staining on rear end. Diarrhea in litterbox.
1-2cm oval full thickness wound of right inguinal area, w/ hair/dirt caked in it
P: Clean and lavaged wound w/chlorhexidine solution
1/2 tablet capstar once PO
Clavamox 0.2ml PO BID x 10 days
Terramycin BID x 7 days
Nebulization BID x 5 days
Still congested, but good appetite this morning. Moderate yellow purulent discharge coming from wound. Cleaned wound with chlorhexidine and applied SSD and Tegaderm bandage.
Pt has diarrhea – running parvo test.
S/O-BAR, eating great, nasal d/c, tegaderm in place with inguinal wound visible with no d/c today, parvo test negative
P-continue with current treatment plan
Grey has not had a behavior evaluation yet but his medical behavior is green (tolerates all handling)
