EENT: Eyes clear but third eyelids protruding OU, ears – dark debris (looks like foreign substance) AS, bilateral serous nasal discharge
Oral Exam: Healthy deciduous dentition; no oral lesions noted
PLN: No enlargements noted
H/L: NSR, NMA, CRT < 2, Lungs clear, eupnic
ABD: Non painful, no masses palpated
U/G: male, only one testicle palpable scrotally
MSI: Ambulatory x 4, skin free of parasites, no masses noted, healthy hair coat
CNS: Mentation appropriate – no signs of neurologic abnormalities
Rectal: not performed
Assessment: Underweight (too thin), URI
Prognosis:
Good
Plan: Move to ISO and start Doxycycline 50mg/ml – 0.3mls PO q24h x 10d; first dose administered. Recheck day 7 and 10.
SURGERY:
Temporary waiver due to underweight and URI
