Great Kitty is a male white and grey DSH mix; he came to his owner’s home from a corner store and was surrender due the Family’ s children developing allergies. He has no health issues or injures and has no vet history.
Around strangers Great Kitty is friendly and outgoing, and allows the individual to approach her and pet him. He has lived with two children both are 1 years old, and around the children he is very gentle but mostly keeps to himself. He has been around both small dogs and large dogs, and is playful and gentle with them often sleeping in the same bed. Great Kitty has no bite history.
During car rides Great Kitty cries and meows. He isn’t bothered when someone tries to pick up and he will struggle when he has to go into the carrier. Great Kitty was described as Friendly, affectionate and mellow with a medium activity level by his previous owner. He loves lying down on the bed with his owner’s to cuddle. Great Kitty is freed feed dry food of the Keebles and bits. Great Kitty is litter-boxed trained and uses a hooded box with clay litter. Great Kitty has a scratching post made from carpet and rough rope.

Reaction when softly spoken to: Great Kitty pokes his head forward, but doesn’t come to the front and lip licks.
Reaction to cage door opening: Great Kitty remains motionless.
Reaction to touch: Great Kitty sniffs the assessor’s hand and head-butts gently. He leans in for cheek rubs, begins to purr, and rolls over slightly. He appears to really like petting on his chin and cheeks.
Reaction to being picked up: Great Kitty remains calm and continues to purr when held.
