I came in the shelter as a STRAY on 01/26/2017 from NY 10466, owner surrender reason stated was STRAY.

01/26/17 13:38 Basic information: Grain was brought in as a stray. The finder found her in the street, the finder placed Grain in a cat carrier and brought Grain to the shelter. No other information could be provided during intake. Intake Behavior: During intake Grain had tense, stiff body. Grain would retreat from extended hand and growl and hiss and attempted to swat the handler. we were able to scan (negative), collared, pictured, and placed in a cat kennel, Grain showed signs fear towards handler.
