GLISSIE – A1069863
Safe - 4-18-2016 Manhattan Rescue: Happy Homes Please honor your pledges: http://www.happyhomesinc.org/
***SAFE 04/18/16*** FOUND IN AN ELEVATOR SHAFT, this AVERAGE-rated boy deserves some loving arms around him. Read GLISSIE’s loving volunteer comments: “A volunteer writes: Glissie is a sweet and affectionate cat. He loves getting attention and enjoys to be petted on his chin, head and back of his neck. He lied down very relaxed after I gave him cat massages. He also meows a lot! He meowed as if he was telling me a story which made me laugh. He’ll be a sweet and talkative companion who will keep you entertained at home! Another volunteer writes: Just as all that glitters may not be gold, sometimes you need to look past an outer layer of city grit to find the shining treasure underneath. The moment I laid eyes on his handsome yet dusty face I figured Glissie for a golden boy but now that I know him better I see I underestimated…he’s actually pure platinum! You simply couldn’t find a more relaxed or loving pet than him and if snuggliness tops your wish list then you’ve definitely come to the right cat. I call Glissie my ‘little seal’ as his technique of begging for attention is quite unique–he flops onto his side then, using only his belly, he wiggles and waggles toward me until he’s perfectly positioned for petting. Cute, smart AND funny, what a dream guy! Glissie is a superstar pet just waiting for his chance to shine so please, come into our Manhattan Care Center and give him the big break he deserves.” PLEASE ADVOCATE WIDELY FOR GLISSIE TONIGHT!
