SAFE 2/11/16
A volunteer writes: I just met Fred on Monday, and was struck by this big, impressive, healthy and handsome cat. I found him at the front of his kitty condo, checking out the other cats and occasionally pacing back and forth like a little lion patrolling the boundaries of his domain. I could imagine that what Fred wants most of all is to be adopted by someone who will let Fred be Fred, independent-minded and a good companion, rather than a lap kitty. His former family described him as an active cat, and I can see that characteristic in him. He’s curious about his surroundings and everyone and everything in it. Fred clearly has a mind of his own and knows how to “be” in his world. Now he just needs to find a housemate who will appreciate his company, and they can both move forward into a comfortable relationship that works for all concerned!
