***SAFE 03/25/16***TERRIFIC GREY TABBY RETURNED FOR “NO TIME” NEEDS NEW FRIEND! Meet super friendly and super healthy Gina, a beautiful 15 month old loving and lovely girl. Gina was adopted as a kitten but returned since her former owner doesn’t have time to care for her. UGH! She is described as friendly, affectionate, playful, talkative, and high energy. She is also purrfectly healthy and originally beginner rated. But that was changed to “experience” since the ACC claims she “plays rough.” Perhaps, they merely needed an excuse to put this healthy and very adoptable cat on the at-risk list. Let’s do everything we can to advocate for this good girl. Please reserve Gina online or get in touch with our help desk and we will lead you through the process so you can have this darling delivered directly to your door step–[email protected]. This terrific grey tabby only has tonight. We are her only hope. Don’t let her down. Make the call for Gina NOW!!!

03/20/16 14:27 BASIC INFO Gina is a ~1.5 year old spayed DSH cat. She originally came to ACC As a stray. She was adopted and returned 1 year later because her family didn’t have time to care for her. SOCIALIZATION Gina is friendly/outgoing with new people. She hasn’t spent time with small children or other pets. She’s never bit anyone. BEHAVIOR Gina is relaxed in the car. She doesn’t mind being woken up. She’s nervous when someone bathes her, brushes her, picks her up, holds her, or puts her in a carrier. FOR A NEW FAMILY TO KNOW Gina’s family describes her as friendly, affectionate, playful, talkative, and high energy. She follows them and sits in their laps. She ate dry cat food and lived inside. She plays with all kinds of cat toys. She’s littertrained, used an uncovered litterbox with clumping litter, and didn’t have accidents. She scratched a horizontal cardboard scratching pad and didn’t scratch furniture. INTAKE Gina was tense but tolerant while I pet her, picked her up, scanned her (-), collared her, positioned her for pictures, and put her in a carrier. She didn’t resist, retreat, or vocalize while on the counter. She walked and looked around. Once in the carrier, she growled very quietly and then hissed once. I sprayed Feliway once onto the opening of the carrier and she became quiet and her body more relaxed. She sat at the front and looked out.
