12/01/2016 BEHAVIOR EVALUATION – EXPNOCHILD
Exam Type BEHAVIOR
Gatorade came to the shelter without an owner profile, so we don’t have any behavioral history or tendencies in a home environment. Upon intake, Gatorade was nervous and avoided handling. Reaction to assessor: Gatorade is sitting in the back of the cage. Reaction when softly spoken to: Gatorade remains motionless. Reaction to cage door opening: Gatorade is tense, stiff. Reaction to touch: Gatorade shifts to avoid touch but tolerates some petting. Placement Determination: Experience No Child Gatorade does not approach the assessor, avoids petting and tolerates limited handling. Gatorade is exhibiting behavior suited to experienced cat parents with no children and may need additional adjustment time to a new home environment.
