When she popped out, she was a friendly kitty ‘and was rubbing and allowed all petting. GAMBIT has since caught the shelter cold, and this 3 year old cutie pie is now in danger. 09/07/16 16:31 Gambit meowed inside the box he was brought in. He began to meow louder when the tape was being cut off of the box. When the top of the box was opened, he looked up at counselor and blinked. Counselor slowly tipped the box over, and he walked out of it to eat food. He allowed for petting and rubbed against counselor’s hands. Gambit allowed for collaring. After he finished his food, he began to crawl along the counter with his body low looking for a place to hide. He allowed counselor to pick him up and position him on table for pictures. He laid down for pictures. He allowed counselor to pick him up and put him inside his carrier.

Reaction to door opening: Gambit remains in place, relaxed body posture, alert with soft eyes, meowing attention. Reaction to touch: Gambit leans into the assessor’s hand and appreciates petting on the head and body. Reaction to Being Picked up: She becomes antsy then jumps back into the cage. Placement determination: Average Gambit interacts with the observer, appreciates attention, is easy to handle and tolerates all petting.
