GALAXY NEEDS A PATIENT PURRSON WHO WILL LET HER BLOSSOM IN HER OWN TIME!! If you are that Purrson, please apply to FOSTER or ADOPT NOW!! If you need assistance, email [email protected]

06/26/2016 BEHAVIOR EVALUATION – EXPERIENCE
Exam Type BEHAVIOR
Please note that Galaxy is being treated for an upper respiratory infection at the time of the behavior assessment. This condition may affect some of the behaviors shown during evaluation. Our enrichment facilitator has interacted with Galaxy and at the time she was nervous with wide eyes. Galaxy tolerates petting but seems a little uncomfortable. Reaction to assessor: Galaxy does not come to front but remains neutral When spoken quietly: Galaxy does not come to front but remains neutral Reaction to door cage opening: Galaxy remains motionless Reaction to touch: Galaxy was tense but allowed petting with a slow approach Try picking cat up: Did not attempt Behavior Determination: Experience Galaxy was brought to the care center as a stray so we don’t have any behavioral history or tendencies previous to what we are seeing during the evaluation. At the time of the assessment she was displaying fearful behavior; does not seek attention from the assessor and becomes alert when the kennel was open. Remains motionless as I started to get closer. I was able to pet her and interact with her in a limited way. Although she was tense no fractious behavior was display. We recommend that this cat go to a home with experienced cat parents.
