**GONE 08/06/16** FRUIT LOOP WAS DUMPED AT THE ACC DUE TO A MAMMARY TUMOR – FRUIT LOOP NEEDS SOMEONE TO GIVE HER A CHANCE TO LIVE AS LONG AS SHE CAN! Poor FRUIT LOOP is a friendly girl who has a mammary tumor which has not become ulcerated yet. Sadly the ACC is not giving her a promising prognosis, but as we all know, they have been wrong before. FRUIT LOOP has a serious condition but deserves to be looked at by a competent vet. FRUIT LOOP was said to be playful and was found about a month ago by the person surrendering her. She is only 6 years old and needs an angel tonight to give her a chance. IF YOU CAN HELP FRUIT LOOP PLEASE EMAIL THE HELP DESK AT [email protected] FOR RESCUE INFO.

08/03/2016 PET PROFILE MEMO
08/03/16 17:54 BASIC INFO Fruit Loop is a senior female DSH cat. She was found in the building 1 month ago and surrendered due to her declining health. She was hiding under a bed for 2 weeks and wasn’t eating. 2 days ago, she came out and ate. Her caretakers noticed that she’s lost weight and has a mammary tumor. She finished her wet food quickly during intake. SOCIALIZATION Fruit Loop is shy with new people at first. A 5 year old child visited and she swatted towards him without making contact. She hasn’t bit/scratched anyone. BEHAVIOR Fruit Loop is nervous in the car. She doesn’t mind being woken up, put in a carrier, or picked up/held. FOR A NEW FAMILY TO KNOW Fruit Loop’s family describes her as friendly, affectionate, and quiet. She was playful and medium energy until 2 weeks ago when she became low energy. She followed her caretaker and sat next to her. She played with stuffed toys and wand toys. She lived inside and slept on a blanket. She ate Friskies dry and chunky/shredded wet foods and enjoyed chewy and crunchy cat treats. She used a covered litterbox with clumping litter and didn’t have accidents. She scratched the arm of the couch but didn’t have a scratching post. INTAKE Fruit Loop was a little tense and was tolerant while I pet her, picked her up, scanned her (-), collared her, and positioned her for pictures. She growled quietly as I moved her into the carrier. She didn’t resist or retreat.
