FRISKY – A0887709
Gone - 7-3-2016 Brooklyn
**GONE 07/03/16** HEARTBREAKING! Pets are 100% dependent on the people who care for them, so it’s crucial that pet owners take that responsibility seriously. Whoever used to own FRISKY started out properly, by adopting this spayed 11-year-old lady from the ACC some years ago. Along the way, they watched as her health got progressively worse, and they did…nothing? They did something in the early years, but not for a very long time? Did they bring her to the ACC, finally, when they couldn’t bear to watch FRISKY drag her hind end around, did that finally make them feel guilty enough to want her OUT of their house? They brought her back to the ACC for reasons unknown. Maybe they thought the vets there would help her; maybe they were hoping she would be killed shortly after they abandoned her. It’s hard to understand their motivation and in the end, it doesn’t really matter. What matters is that FRISKY needs some veterinary attention to get a handle on what her real issues are, and she needs all the TLC in the world. She deserves to feel loved and dignified and special once again, for whatever time she has left. FRISKY can be adopted by someone who is willing to do all that for her, or she can be fostered through a NEW HOPE rescue. With that scenario, FRISKY would have her veterinary care handled by the rescue and the foster would get to concentrate on making up for lost time. Please do something noble, and caring, and kind, this 4th of July weekend. Advocate relentlessly for FRISKY, tonight!
