FREDDY – A1073548

***SAFE 7/19/16 *** SAD BOY NEEDS NEW HOPE HERO NOW! The look in 4 year old Freddy’s eyes seems to say “Please understand. I’m not a mean kitty. I’m afraid and just want to go home!” This heart broken creamsicle was brought to the shelter as a stray, and is terrified. His whole world has just been turned upside down. Suddenly he’s found himself in a tiny cage. There’s people poking and prodding him. There’s loud scary noises. Cats are smart. They recognize the smell of DEATH and know what it means. Freddy knows this is just what the people at the ACC have in store for him at NOON TOMORROW, and he’s trying his best to steer clear of them! If offered a chance in a relaxed home environment, this boy could certainly show you the kitty he truly is! A New Hope rescue is needed to pull Freddy to safety. If you’d like to offer to ADOPT/FOSTER him, please contact the Help Desk at [email protected]. His last hours are slipping away, don’t let the ACC deny him a chance at a loving home. ACT NOW!

Freddy seems to not be thriving in this environment and at the time of the assessment he was displaying behaviors that preclude placement in the adoptions room. Freddy may require further investigation before placement in a home. He is extremely fearful and currently does not tolerate petting or handling. The behavior department feels that placement with a New Hope Partner is the best option at this time
