Subjective:
Observed Behavior – BAR. Mild dehydration. Allows all handling. Didn’t eat during exam
Evidence of Cruelty seen – no
Evidence of Trauma seen – no
Objective
P = WNL R = WNL BCS 4/9
EENT: moderate conjunctivitis and mucoid ocular discharge OU, mucoid nasal discharge, ears clean
Oral Exam: Teeth erupting appropriately, pink mm, no oral ulcers
PLN: No enlargements noted
H/L: NSR, NMA, CRT < 2, Lungs clear, eupnic
ABD: Non painful, no masses palpated
U/G: Neutered
MSI: Ambulatory x 4, skin free of parasites, no masses noted, healthy hair coat, thin hair coat above left eye, area of alopecia at left elbow, wound on nose
CNS: mentation appropriate – no signs of neurologic abnormalities
Assessment: URI, conjunctivitis, underweight, dehydrated, alopecia on LF likely from crusted nasal discharge (woods lamp neg)
Plan: Rec doxycycline 0.3ml PO q24 x 10 days, erythromycin OU q12 x 10 days (first dose given after cleaning eyes and face). LRS 25ml SQ given by LVT, SSD applied to nose. Monitor appetite.

smelled like feces – did parvo snap – negative
cleaned paws
offered kitten food – ate well
called on call DVM x2 no answer. phoned manager and was advised to place in KSC on bottom cage, clean nose with warm water only and not to put any ointment on wound.
