10/29/16 11:59 Finder did not have any interaction with animal as animal was brought into our facility in a trap. Behavior during intake: Kitten was nervous and trying to hide in the back of the trap. I was able to transfer without any issues. In the den, kitten was trying to flee and running into the den door. I was unable to collar.

Frankie came to the shelter as a stray, so we don’t have any behavioral history or tendencies in a home environment. Upon intake, Frankie was nervous and attempted to flee. Reaction to assessor: Frankie is sitting mid-cage, body neutral. Reaction when softly spoken to: Frankie looks at assessor with wide eyes. Reaction to cage door opening: Frankie retreats to the back of the cage. Reaction to touch: Frankie shifts away to avoid being touched, ears flat, allows some petting but appears tense. Placement Determination: Experience No Child Frankie does not approach the assessor, appears tense and nervous, and allows limited handling. Frankie is exhibiting behavior suited to experienced cat parents with no children who can allow her additional adjustment time to a new home environment.
