*** SAFE 01/07/18 *** Flash was brought in by a good Samaritan helping out a friend who can no longer take care of the animals in the home. Flash is a white and brown tabby, DSH male. He was neutered prior to coming into the shelter and has not seen a vet recently.
Flash has lived with other cats in his previous home and was relaxed and tolerant of them.
FLASH is a 5 yr old neutered boy who has a URI and some alopecia. He allows handling and needs a furever home!

Flash is at risk due to being diagnosed with an Upper Respiratory Infection and will likely require home rest and a series of antibiotics for up to 14 days. This is a contagious illness to other cats. Flash has been friendly in the care center and allows all handling.

KNOWN HISTORY:: Flash was brought in as a stray, so we cannot speak to his behavior in his previous home.
MEDICAL BEHAVIOR:: Not immediately social, but allows most handling with minimal restraint. Tends towards flight rather than fight.
Cage Condition:: Cage is slightly re-arranged
Reaction to assessor:: Flash was relaxed, meows loudly then slowly comes forward to greet the assessor.
Reaction when softly spoken to:: Flash continues to vocalize and rubs her cheeks up against the kennel door.
Reaction to cage door opening:: Flash is calm and relaxed.
Reaction to touch:: Flash meows and leans in, allowing petting and rubs along her body. His tail quivers, he gives head butts and appreciates petting/attention.
Reaction to being picked up:: Flash is calm, relaxed and allows all handling.
