11/16/2016 PET PROFILE MEMO
11/16/16 15:53 BASIC INFO fire A1097026 is a dsh cat. She is being surrendered to the shelter because the owner has too many pets, and also the landlord wants the cats removed from the building. Fire allows you to pert her, but is very fearful. They are fed 9 Lives wet and dry food. All of the cats are sociable with each other. They use a regular litter box with Fresh Step cat litter. BEHAVIOR DURING INTAKE Fire did allow petting and a little handling.
No Web Memo
11/19/2016 BEHAVIOR EVALUATION – EXPNOCHILD
Exam Type BEHAVIOR
Reaction to assessor: Fire looks tense, tightly curled up at the back when approached by the assessor. Reaction to door opening: Fire remains immobile, alert with eyes wide open. Reaction to touch: Fire accepts the stroke, but stiffens up with ears slightly to the side and began to urinate in place. Placement determination: Experience / no child Fire tolerates attention and petting but may be fearful in the shelter, and may be intimidated by small children. Due to the behaviors seen in the care center, we feel that this cat will do best in a calm, quiet home with experienced cat parents and without children.
