I am an unaltered female, gray and white Domestic Shorthair.
The shelter staff think I am about 1 year old.
I weigh 6 pounds.
I was found in NY 11211.
I have been at the shelter since Feb 13, 2016.
02/14/16 Sunday (Day 1)
Tense at the back. Injured. Wide eyes focused on all movements. Remains motionless. Doesn’t react when touched. Licks lips. Very nervous.

RF PAW IS MODERATELY SWOLLEN STARTING AT THE CARPAL REGION AND EXTENDING DISTALLY.
DIGIT 5 HAS AN AVULSION OF THE SKIN OVERLYING THE 5TH NAIL BED. SOME MILD HEMORRHAGIC DISCHARGE OOZED WHEN CLEANED. CREPITUS IS PALPABLE OVER THE 5TH METATARSAL REGION – LIKELY FRACTURE PRESENT
PATIENT WILL LIKELY FLEE WHEN LEFT WITHOUT RESTRAINT, THEREFORE UNABLE TO ASSESS GAIT, HOWEVER APPEARS TO FAVOR RFL

PX: GOOD WITH SUPPORTIVE CARE
P: GAVE 0.15 ML BUP SL BID X 5 DAYS
PLACED BANDAGE WITH TONGUE DEPRESSOR SPLINT TO HELP SUPPORT LIMB – WILL CHANGE IN 2 DAYS TO ASSESS HEALING OF WOUND (OR EARLIER IF SOILED)
