05/03/2017 PET PROFILE MEMO
05/03/17 17:43 Basic Information Estes is an approximately 2 year old domestic short hair mix. She is being surrendered because the owner has too many pets in the home. Estes has no noticeable health problems and the owner has never taken her to a vet. Socialization Around strangers, Estes is very shy and fearful. She has lived mostly with adults in the home; but does not play with anyone. She has lived with 6 other cats and they all got along with each other. She has never been around dogs so the owner has no idea how Estes would behave around them. Estes has never bitten or scratched anyone. Behavior Estes has never had any litter box problems and uses the litter box or goes to the bathroom outside. Estes has never been given a bath, had her nails trimmed, had her hair brushed, and struggles when being held or put in a carrier. For a new family to know The owner describes Estes shy and fearful. She has a Medium activity level. Estes loves to eat and sleep most of the day. Around the house, she keeps to herself and rarely seeks attention. She has never played with any cat toys. She sleeps mostly indoors anywhere in the house although she sometime sleeps outside in the street (the owner allows her to go in and outside of the house). Estes was being fed various name brand dry cat food 2 times a day. Estes uses an open litter box with clumping cat litter everyday and rarely has accidents. Behavior during the intake During intake, Estes fled from staff and growled hiss and swatted at the staff members. We were able to scan for a microchip (-) but we were not able to take a picture or put on an ID collar.
