Meet El Bori, a 6 year old Siamese that was brought in with his sister Princesa after their humans moved and decided they could not go with them. El Bori is said to be a friendly affectionate guy who likes strangers, is easy going, laid back and liked to follow his human around the house. Who could not love this guy???!!!! El Bori could use some help tonight, he was given a death sentence and will die tomorrow if he doesn’t find a new home.Don’t let him go down like that!!!! Share him before it is too late.

10/01/16 14:10 Basic Info: El Bori A1091870 is a 6yr old neutered chocolate & white Siamese feline who was bought from a neighbor 6yrs ago & is being surrendered along with his “sister” Princesa A1091871 due to the owner moving to where pets aren’t allowed. They were last seen by a veterinarian a few years ago and currently have no known health issues/injuries. Socialization: Around strangers El Bori is friendly/outgoing. He hasn’t lived with dogs or children but was gentle, relaxed, playful & affectionate with the adult in the home and Princesa. El Bori hasn’t bitten/scratched any person or animal. Behavior: El Bori isn’t bothered by the following: having his nails trimmed, being bathed/brushed, being in a car, being picked up/held or with being placed into a carrier. He hasn’t been disturbed while sleeping/resting. For a New Family to Know: El Bori is described as friendly, confident, playful (at times), mellow & quiet with a low-medium activity level. When the owner is home he follows them around sometimes. He enjoys ball & mouse toys at times and is an indoor only cat that sleeps around the home. El Bori eats dry Friskies 1-3x a day. He is uncovered litter box trained with crystal or clumping litter within. El Bori doesn’t have a scratching post and scratches the couches. Intake Behavior: El Bori allowed all handling. He allowed to be scanned (-), collared and taken pictures of. El Bori didn’t seem to mind being picked up/held and was placed into a kennel with ease.

As per previous owner, El Bori is friendly and outgoing around strangers. He hasn’t lived with dogs or children but was gentle, relaxed, playful, and affectionate with the adult in the home and with another cat. El Bori hasn’t bitten or scratched any person or animal. Reaction to assessor: El Bori hisses and growls at the assessor. Reaction when softly spoken to: El Bori hisses and growls at the assessor. Reaction to cage door opening: El Bori charges the front of the cage. Reaction to touch: El Bori hisses, growls, and strikes at the assessor. Behavior Determination: New Hope Only EL Bori is displaying behaviors that preclude placement in the adoptions room and/or may require further investigation before placement in a home. He has tried to swat, is extremely fearful in the shelter environment and does not currently tolerate petting or handling. The behavior department feels that placement with a New Hope Partner is the best option at this time.
