***SAFE 06/17/16***ANOTHER CHANCE FOR FELV+–MAKE IT COUNTS–HE NEEDS A HERO TONIGHT!! Someone trapped EDGAR and a few kittens whom they feel he is the “dad” to – in their backyard and dumped them in the ACC. EDGAR does not have the kitty cold, but he DID test positive for FELV. A volunteer writes: Edgar is a laid back, bit on the shy side, young man. He is handsome, sporting a coat of jet black. The one thing Edgar is probably wishing for is a forever home – and you can make that wish come true! Another volunteer writes: Edgar is a fine boy who welcomes petting and handling, but he’s reluctant to open himself up to doing fun things, probably because he’s a bit nervous. Being confined is no fun, and if Edgar were to channel his “inner kitten” he would want to have fun and interact more. Experienced cat parents (those with lots of experience with cats) would be most suitable cat parents to Edgar since their patience would allow him all the time he needs to adjust to his new home. EDGAR looks more like a lot pet than a stray however unless he finds a special purrson to take him home tonight- he will be wheeled to the euth room Wednesday afternoon. FELV CATS CAN LIVE ALONE OR WITH OTHER FELV CATS OR DOGS – BE EDGAR’S RESCUE ANGEL NOW AND CONTACT A RESCUE TO PULL HIM TO SAFETY!!
