ECHO – A1073112
Gone - 5-15-2016 Manhattan
***GONE 05/15/16*** ECHO IS PERFECTLY HEALTHY BUT WILL DIE BECAUSE SHE IS SHY AND TENSE IN THE SHELTER. Poor ECHO ! She came in with 4 other cats – 3 of which made an appearance on last night’s euth list. ECHO is perfectly healthy but when the assessor tried to pet her she just tensed up and remained immobile. She allowed the petting and attention but because she didn’t react as a friendly attention-seeking cat, they decided she isn’t worth saving and whisked her on to tonight’s euth list. ECHO just needs time to relax and get to know you. She is such a pretty little calico girl and only about 1 year old – just a grown kitten! This girl deserves a happy ending to her story. GIVE ECHO A FREEDOM RIDE TONIGHT BY CONTACTING A RESCUE TO PULL HER TO SAFETY. IF YOU NEED CONTACT INFO, EMAIL OUR HELP DESK AT [email protected]

05/13/2016 BEHAVIOR EVALUATION – EXPNOCHILD
Exam Type BEHAVIOR
Reaction to assessor: Echo looks tense in the cage when approached by the assessor. Reaction to door opening: Echo remains hiding in her cat den, alert with pupils dilated. Reaction to touch: Echo attempts to escape at first, but once touched she stiffens up in place and remains immobile. Placement determination: Experience / no child Echo tolerates attention and petting but may be fearful in the shelter, and may be intimidated by small children. Due to the behaviors seen in the care center, we feel that this cat will do best in a calm, quiet home with experienced cat parents and without children.
