DUSTY – A0538929
Safe - 9-21-2017 Brooklyn
**SAFE 09/21/2017** 14-year-old DUSTY is an Average-rated, neutered dreamboat who was originally adopted from the ACC a long, LONG time ago, then returned recently on account of “allergies.” Sounds like someone became “allergic” to taking care of their cat!! He’s underweight and needs an angel to step up for him tonight!!

09/11/2017 PET PROFILE MEMO
09/11/17 20:13 Basic Information: Dusty is a male DMH cat with no known health issues or injuries. He has not seen a vet recently. Socialization: Dusty is typically friendly with strangers, he will keep to himself but after a while will approach for attention. Humans need to move slowly around him, as he does not like fast moving hands. He will swat or hiss at children because they can be rough with him, so he would do better in a home with older or no children. He has not spent time with other cats or dogs. Behavior: Dusty is described as being a low key guy, friendly but also independent. He is an older guy so he does not play with many toys but does like laser pointers. He has no bite history and is quiet in the car. His owner stated that she has bathed him but you need to go slow and talk to him through the process. She has groomed and clipped his nails without issues. He allows her to pick him up and goes into a carrier easily. For a new family to know: Dusty eats both wet and dry food but needs his portions small as he gets sick when he eats a lot at once. He usually hangs in his favorite spot most of the day, and has been an indoor cat. He is litter box trained using a hooded box and clay litter. He scratches on fabric so would need a scratching post in his new home.
