SAFE 10/8/16 SUPER SWEET HEAD-BUTTING CAT IS 17 YEARS OLD AND WAS BROUGHT TO ACC WHEN OWNER WAS EVICTED. PLEASE GIVE THIS KITTY A RETIREMENT HOME NOW! HAS SOME INGROWN TOENAILS THAT NEED ATTENTION.
A volunteer writes: My heart just aches for this loving tortie lady. At 17 years old, in the twilight of her life, all she wants is to love and be loved, and she has so much love to give. Settled in her kennel, she looks like she is fast asleep, but at the slightest touch, she comes alive and stands and rubs and purrs like there is no tomorrow. It’s a truly a special person who will come and be Dove’s angel, and you will get so much more in return. There aren’t many that are as sweet and loving as she is. This angel needs an angel.
Another volunteer writes: My heart also breaks for pretty Dove, who, as the other volunteer wrote, is one of the sweetest, most loving cats ever. She aced her behavior exam, meaning she’d be great in any kind of household, even one with kids. Her former owner also vouched for how terrific she is, saying that she is friendly and outgoing with strangers and was great pals with the two small dogs in the home, cuddling and playing with them. If you have room on your sofa for this volunteer favorite, or perhaps a small dog who would love a friend to hang with while you’re at work, consider adopting lovely, heaven-sent Dove.
