***SAFE 12/15/17 *** VIDEO & NEW PHOTOS! A volunteer writes: Miss Dorothy is a calm, supersweet girl who finds herself in the cat adoption room after being part of a family. Her former owners had awesome things to say about her, noting that Dorothy warmed up quickly to strangers, played gently with the adults in the household, and was “respectful and tolerant” of the preschool-age kids in the home, too. Our behavior team agreed, noting that this warm tabby with Audrey Hepburn eyes was laid-back, quiet, curious, and accepted pettings. My favorite thing about her is that she seemed to be quite content just sitting close to humans; Dorothy didn’t need to be entertained with toys or constant stroking. She has a soft demeanor and the cutest penchant for suddenly deciding to roll over on her back and show her belly-a sign of trust. If you’re looking for a best feline friend, you won’t find a better candidate than this lovely lady.
DOROTHY is a 5 yr old girl who was dumped at the shelter by her owner. She is shy and needs a new furever home.
