DONNIE – A1088855
Safe - 9-16-2016 Brooklyn
***SAFE 09/16/16*** SECOND CHANCE FOR DARLING DONNIE!! …DONNIE IS PERFECTLY HEALTHY BUT THE ACC WILL STILL KILL HIM BECAUSE THEY CAN……Yes killing healthy adoptable pets is what it seems the ACC does best. DONNIE is only 2 years old and healthy. The only thing he had wrong with him is some flea bites. On his assessment he allowed most petting and loved chin rubs. But he didn’t like his back touched so – BAM – they slapped him with an EXPNOCHILD rating and a spot on tonight’s list. DONNIE may need a little patience til he chills out at your home, because any cat would not act like their normal self in the shelter environment. DONNIE also is said to be a gray cat but the ACC in their usual lazy way- has not even bothered to give this cat a decent photo so anyone could see what he looked like. Another proof there is no CARE in the ACC. GIVE DONNIE A DEATH ROW PARDON TONIGHT BY CONTACTING A RESCUE NOW TO OFFER TO FOSTER OR ADOPT!

09/09/2016 BEHAVIOR EVALUATION – EXPNOCHILD
Exam Type BEHAVIOR
Donnie was brought in as a stray, so we cannot speak to his behavior in his previous home. Reaction to assessor: Donnie relaxed on his blanket near the front of the kennel. Reaction when softly spoken to: Donnie stretches his body out, rolls over on his side then lightly head butts the kennel door. Reaction to cage door opening: Donnie is calm and relaxed. Reaction to touch: Donnie sniffs the assessors hand and slowly rises up when touched. He allows petting on his head and slowly leans in for rubs on his cheeks. When touched on his back he quickly whipped around and struck at the assessor. He lip licks then comes back and lightly head butts and seeks attention. Reaction to being picked up: Donnie is tense, struggles and whips around trying to bite the assessor when held. Behavior Determination: Experience No Child Donnie tolerates attention and petting but may be fearful or stressed in the shelter, and may be intimidated by small children. He may be a little more independent, and may need time to warm up to his or her new home. Due to the behaviors seen in the care center, we feel that this cat will do best in a calm, quiet home with experienced cat parents and without children.
